When ratting I sometimes see loot containers from people who are no longer in the system.
Is it acceptable to get what is in them or not?
I ask because I found a belt with about 10 jetcans right now but the system is empty for about 30 or 40 minutes now. Quite some stuff in there. 
So, would you think bad of me if I go and take what others left lying around?

I'll take the stuff and send a mail to the two pilots (same corp both) explaining why I took it and offering compensation.

Hmmm...wouldn't expect such a carebear gesture from the Queen of Hades. 
But this does bring up an important point about space litter. I've seen roid fields with 3X more cans than asteroids! It's getting ridiculous! I am sure some of these cans belong to players who are not even playing EVE anymore. There should be a time limit on cargo cans left in space as far as ownership.
I'm not as all the other Amarr.
My Amarr parents abandoned me for being a pre - marital child but I was found by a loving Minmatar couple who adopted me and gave me all the love a couple of parents can give.
